I had so much fun again this time ,the theme of my favorite things turned out to be great ..

I just love this hand made wooden bird house...It is about four foot tall ,and kind of a bird hotel for one or many...
I bought this piece at Uncle Billy's Flea market a few years back and it has really held up well.... it sits outside,  on the upper deck ...
I am very happy with this painting too....

 This is a painting of a piece that Mary Ellen and Woody brought me back from Guatemala...
She is a doll that is the Angel Of hope, and I think she is the cutest thing...


This is a pre-paint for a class next week that I already have 29 people signed up for....Nice....


Not a great photo, but I took all three of the last painting together....

Having today off, My two sisters and I went to lunch and then went to see Mom , she really seemed to enjoy the surprise visit from her three girls...
What next? I do not know what tomorrow will bring....See you then...

No Excuses, but If I were to have one, it would be that I worked to many hours at work and than rushed both of these paintings to meet a dead line I imposed on me....
 Oh Well, better luck with the next one....
I have had the wire tea pot for a long time and Aidan played with it a bit while they were here...
Yuban is the coffee we drink and have since I started drinking coffee many,many years ago... still my very favorite .....I am just sorry the painting is not up to snuff... I may redo it soon...

The Sun Flower Doll is the one mom made the most of...Close to a hundred...
I gave her a small piece of material with sun flowers on it and she saw the faces in each one and so began The Sun Flower dolls....
This one is the very last one that I know of, and I can not wait to take these last three paintings to show her....

Here he is learning to use a helmet when he rides...
I am very sad to see my family go home today...
it has been a wonderful time having them here....

We had a very full, busy day at work yesterday,that ended with a special class.
We teamed up with Vitabath to celebrate  Bubble Bath Weekend,we had bubbles to blow,pictures to pose behind , yummy snacks and wine and free stuff.
It turned out to be a very fun class... Pictures to come later....

Mom handmade many, many dolls and I am the proud owner of a whole lot of them.. I am planning on painting many of my favorite ones here, so this is just the start...

It is back to work for me after many days off and lots of company still here.... I have really enjoyed both ....Oh Well I am out of time today.. I finished the #9 painting but no time to load it now ...Off to work until 11:00 P.M. so maybe later... Bye for now...

This egg has been a favorite Easter decoration of mine for years... So simple and so cute...
It makes a pretty neat little painting too...
Now about a boy....
Auntie Q gave Aidan a remote controlled car  last night when went to her house for the first time.  When he got home here,we got the batteries in it,and he laughed and laughed when it lite up and started going in circles, but he was able to get it going right away and it is his new favorite toy.....




Yesterday was a very busy day,as we started it out, going to visit Grandma White, his Great grandma... She was so happy to get to see him....


We shall see what we get up to today...
The flu has come to our house, Aidan's dad Andy is down for the count...Hope he gets to feeling better soon...

Yesterday I dropped off 11 of my paintings to the Carrollwood Players Theater
to be hung for display during the show "On Golden Pond".

I have family in town and have limited time to paint right now, so have to make the best of it...I am
so enjoying my daughter,son in law and of course, my 3 year old grandson being here and I will be very sad to see them go all the way back to Seattle......
I can not believe the season is over already....

This is a small wooden box that I bought for my mothers box collection,years ago.
It is a two faced box and very interesting to me.This is how it looks from one angle and tomorrow I will show you it from another angle...
Weird, but kind of fun to paint too....It was made in Indonesia,and she and I both love it....

I know I have painted this tea pot before, but it is the first tea pot I ever bought ,
and still 300 tea pots later ,My very favorite one.... I have a very large collection thanks to many children,from being a teacher for many years....
I did 45 2x2 canvas and made them into ornaments this year,[2014] to give as gifts, for the Christmas tree ,and had so much fun painting so small....
My coworker Pam gave me a dozen small ones in different sizes, for this challenge and I am really enjoying painting on them ....Thanks again Pam....

Here we go again, and Happy New Year to all!!!
My theme for the January 2015's 30 paintings in 30 days will be, My favorite things.
I have started with sunsets,to be able to hang them at Carrollwood Players while they are presenting "On Golden Pond". I hope you get a chance to see this presentation, and my paintings while you are there..
We have had a very good Christmas season , the weather has been great at 50's and 70's and we are really enjoying spending time with family and friends.
Our Grandson turned three and what a wonderful boy he is....
I officially became an old fart on the 30th. of this month, and am still wondering how this happen so quickly....
I hope all the people that have been feeling under the weather this holiday season are now on the road to recovery .....
