Peppermint Pound Cake

Here's my recipe for Peppermint Pound Cake for Michele at http://olddognewtits.com/ and Mel at http://accordingtomags.blogspot.com/  prompt for Ketchup with Us #7.

I have given many, many, Mini Peppermint Pound Cakes as gifts at Christmas time... Always A Big Hit....
      
One box Yellow cake mix
One box Jello instant Vanilla pudding
4eggs
one third cup cooking oil
one cup water
one half of a cap full of peppermint extract

Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat on high speed for 2 min. {no more or they will fall}
Pour into greased and floured pan.. [Makes one regular size pound cake or two loaf size cakes or four to five mini loaf size cakes]
Bake at 350 for 45 to 55 min.s
cool on rack.
Frost cool cake with a glaze of Powdered sugar, small amount of milk and one half cap full of peppermint extract.
 crush candy cane on top.
 Enjoy!!!!!!

    Seriously, my kids have always been mint freaks so this would be right up their alley. I might even switch the small gingerbread loaves I make for the teachers each year with some of these. Great one, Sandi.

    1. It really is easy, plus this year I didn't evan grease and flour the pans but just used Pam spray heavely, and they pop right out of the pans... Thanks for you comment....Merry Christmas....
